Arrival of Flight ET from Addis to Jinka ,Drive directly to Hamar (who are the Omotic speaking group and occupy the mountainous region in the eastern part of omovalley and the most decorative tribe and the profusion of metal bracelet on their arms and legs also adds to their ornamentation). Late afternoon visit Hamar village.
Overnight Hamar village (camping)
Drive south to Omorate , check our passport at the immigration then cross by local boat on the other side ofOmo river. Visit Dassench tribe(who occupy both side of omo river and numbered around 45000 are the most striking hair styles and necklace worn by girls which are made of small
glass buds or bigger plastic beads around their necks). Then
drive back to Hammar .
Lunch in Turmi . afternoon visit Turmi market , if there is a bull jumping visit the ceremony .
Overnight Hamar village (camping)
In this morning we will visit kara tribe (who is a small group numbering 3000 people occupy the left bank of Omo River. They are said to be the master of body painting and face decoration).
After visiting kara drive to jinka, on the way visit Banna village.
Overnight Jinka (Jinka Resort)
To day we will drive to Mursi (70km) in order to visit Mursi tribe who settled inside the Mago National Park, they are renowned for the strange custom followed by their women who, on reaching maturity, have
their lower lips slit and circular clay discs inserted). And this day you will be visiting
Mursi village , experiences local tradition with the local Mursi people. Then after the Mursi visit,
drive back to Jinka . fly back to Addis.
